This policy governs how Mrs Khan's Matrimonial Services Limited (SC864954) handles the photographs and personal information that members upload to, or share through, our matrimonial platform. Privacy and dignity are central to our service; this policy reflects those values.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Data Protection & GDPR Policy.
1What Information You Share
When building your profile you may provide the following information, each with different visibility controls:
- Profile Photographs: Images you upload to your profile;
- Personal Details: Name (first name only displayed publicly), age, location (city/region), height, education, profession, family background;
- Religious & Cultural Information: Faith, sect, ethnicity — where voluntarily provided;
- Contact Details: Telephone and email — never displayed publicly; shared only with matched members with your explicit consent.
2Photo Standards & Consent
By uploading a photograph you confirm that:
- The photograph is of you and you alone (no group photos);
- You own the copyright in the photograph, or have the right to use it;
- The photograph is a clear, recent likeness and not misleading;
- The photograph does not include any other person without their consent;
- The photograph does not contain offensive, inappropriate, or sexually explicit content.
We reserve the right to remove photographs that do not meet these standards. We will notify you before removing a photo where possible.
3How Your Information Is Shared
Your profile information is shared selectively and purposefully:
- With our matchmakers: Full profile details are visible to our senior staff for matching purposes;
- With prospective matches: A summary profile (excluding contact details) is shared with compatible matches. You are informed before we facilitate any such introduction;
- Contact details: These are never shared without your explicit prior consent in each instance.
4Prohibited Uses of Member Information
Members are strictly prohibited from:
- Copying, downloading, or storing other members' photographs without consent;
- Sharing another member's profile information with third parties;
- Using another member's information for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial introduction;
- Reverse image searching or attempting to identify members beyond what they have chosen to share.
Breach of these obligations constitutes a serious violation of our Terms & Conditions and may also constitute a breach of UK data protection law.
5Removing Your Information
You may update or delete your profile photographs and personal information at any time through your account settings, or by contacting us at mrskhanmatrimonial@gmail.com. Upon account closure, your information will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
