Mrs Khan's Matrimonial Services Limited (SC864954) is committed to the prevention of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and any form of exploitation in our business and supply chain. This statement is published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We recognise that matrimonial and matchmaking services can be misused as a vehicle for forced marriage, trafficking, or sexual exploitation. We take a proactive and uncompromising stance against these crimes.

1Our Business & Supply Chain

We are a UK-based matrimonial introduction service providing matchmaking services to individuals seeking lawful marriage partners. Our supply chain is limited and principally involves technology, communications, and professional service providers, all operating within the UK or in jurisdictions with equivalent human rights protections.

2Our Policies & Controls

We implement the following controls to prevent modern slavery and trafficking:

  • All users are verified adults (18+) with genuine matrimonial intent (see Age Verification Policy);
  • Staff are trained to identify indicators of forced marriage, trafficking, and exploitation;
  • We maintain a confidential reporting mechanism for concerns (see Safeguarding Policy);
  • Profiles showing indicators of coercion or trafficking are removed and reported immediately;
  • We cooperate fully with the Forced Marriage Unit (FMU), the National Crime Agency (NCA), and Police Scotland.

3Indicators of Forced Marriage & Trafficking

We train our staff to look for the following indicators and to report them immediately:

  • A registration or communication that appears to be made by or for another person under duress;
  • Requests from a third party to access or manage a member's account;
  • Members who appear to be communicating under surveillance or instruction;
  • Evidence that a member is being transported, controlled, or exploited;
  • Communications referencing the exchange of a person for money, goods, or services.
