Introduction
Mrs Khan's Matrimonial Services Limited (SC864954) operates a curated matrimonial platform and is responsible for the content published on it. This policy describes how we moderate content, the standards we apply, and the consequences for violations. It is enforced in conjunction with our Acceptable Use Policy.
1Content We Moderate
We moderate all user-generated content including:
- Profile photographs and biographical information;
- Messages sent between members via our platform;
- Consultation request notes;
- Content submitted via contact forms or other input channels.
2Moderation Methods
We use a combination of the following approaches:
- Pre-publication review: Profile content is reviewed by our team before appearing on the platform;
- Reactive moderation: User reports are reviewed within 24 hours;
- Proactive monitoring: We periodically review content, communications, and account activity for compliance;
- Automated detection: We may use automated tools to flag known prohibited content (e.g., CSAM hashes via IWF databases).
3Prohibited Content
The following content is prohibited and will be removed immediately:
- Any sexually explicit or pornographic material;
- Any content depicting, referencing, or facilitating harm to children (CSAM);
- Content promoting or glorifying violence, terrorism, or extremism;
- Content that is discriminatory on grounds of race, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics;
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonation content;
- Content containing personal data of third parties without their consent;
- Spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or promotional content;
- Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
4Reporting Prohibited Content
If you encounter prohibited content, please report it immediately to mrskhanmatrimonial@gmail.com with the subject line "Content Report". Provide as much detail as possible, including the type of content, the member involved, and any screenshots if safe to take.
We will acknowledge your report within 24 hours and take action within 48 hours where urgent safety concerns exist.
5Moderation Decisions & Appeals
Where we remove content or take action against an account, we will notify the affected user where it is safe and appropriate to do so. Users may appeal a moderation decision by emailing mrskhanmatrimonial@gmail.com with "Moderation Appeal" in the subject line. Appeals are reviewed by a senior member of staff within 10 business days.
6Escalation to Authorities
We will escalate content to law enforcement or regulatory authorities without notice where the content:
- Constitutes or facilitates a criminal offence (including CSAM, terrorism, fraud, or trafficking);
- Represents an immediate threat to the safety of any person;
- Is required to be reported under any applicable law or regulation.
